Testimonials
Embroidered cherries, not crystal
The cherries here are stitched, not set. Hand-embroidery across the upper gives a softer, more worn-in look than a rhinestone charm — closer to a folk motif than a jewel. That is the real split inside our cherry charm heels: crystal on one side, thread on the other, and this pair is thread.
Peep toe, ankle buckle, block heel
A fishmouth peep toe opens the front, an adjustable buckle strap locks the ankle, and a wide block heel takes the weight. The buckle matters more than it sounds — a secured ankle stops your foot sliding forward, which is most of what makes an open-toe heel wearable for a whole evening. Same wide-base thinking as our vegan leather block heel pumps.
What we do and do not claim
The footbed is PU-lined and cushioned. We have not published an upper material for this style, so we are not going to call it leather, vegan leather or anything else until it is confirmed — a lining is not an upper. Where we do know, we say so: our croc embossed block heel pumps name their vegan PU on the page.
Where these actually go
Denim Blue and White read boho-western rather than bridal, which is worth saying because most embroidered block heel results are wedding shoes. These are summer: denim cutoffs, a cropped tank, golden hour. Sizes run US 5 to 11.5. If you want the same cherry idea in a closed pump, take the crystal cherry heels.
Three cherry styles, three heights
The cherry line runs three ways: this embroidered open-toe sandal, a closed crystal pump, and a low pointed pair of crystal cherry mules at 0.78 inch. Same motif, three finishes, three heights — pick by how long you plan to be on your feet. All three sit in women's heels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are block heels easier to walk in than stilettos?
Yes. The wide base gives the foot more stability and keeps more of the heel on the ground, where a narrow heel asks you to balance with every step. This pair adds a buckled ankle strap on top of that, which stops the foot sliding forward in an open toe.
Are these bridal shoes?
No. Most of what ranks for embroidered block heels is wedding footwear, and this pair is not cut that way — Denim Blue and White read boho-western, made for summer rather than a ceremony. They work fine as a guest shoe on a wide block heel and a buckled ankle, but they are not a white satin bridal pair and we are not going to sell them as one.
Should I size up in block heels?
Only if the brand says the style runs small or your foot falls between sizes. We have not published a fit note for this style, so we are not going to tell you to size up or down. The adjustable ankle buckle does give you some room to fine-tune the hold. Sizes run US 5 to 11.5.
Do the cherries come off, or are they fixed?
Fixed. These cherries are embroidered into the upper, so they are part of the fabric rather than a charm clipped on top. Worth confirming, because the best-known cherry charm heels are interchangeable kits where the whole heel twists off, and much of the cherry charm trend is clip-on accessories.
Is this leather?
No, and we are not going to name the upper until it is confirmed. What the product data does state is a cushioned PU-lined footbed. A lining is not an upper, so we are flagging the gap rather than filling it with a guess.
