Our Story
Where Clark & Cove Begins
Clark & Cove began with a family — Abraham Clark and Jenny Cove — and a simple idea: luxury without the price tag. From a cross-continent move to New York to the pieces we ship today, every choice traces back to that. Real people, real standards, real service.

More information on these heels
Embroidered cherries, stitched and not set
The cherries here are stitched, not set. Hand embroidery runs across the upper and gives a softer, more worn in look than a stone charm does, closer to a folk motif than a jewel. That is the split inside our cherry collection: crystal on one side, thread on the other. This pair is thread.
What makes these boho block heel sandals
Boho block heel sandals are a specific look rather than any sandal with a heel under it. The combination is an open toe, a strap you buckle at the ankle, a wide low block, and handwork of some kind on the upper: braiding, beading, straw, or in this case embroidery. Cherries stitched by hand land the look boho western rather than resort, which is why these read as festival and back garden rather than poolside.
Peep toe, ankle buckle, wide block heel
A fishmouth peep toe opens the front, an adjustable buckle locks the ankle, and a wide block heel takes the weight. The buckle matters more than it sounds. A secured ankle stops your foot sliding forward into the open toe, which is most of what makes an open front heel wearable for a whole evening rather than an hour. The footbed is PU lined and cushioned.
Vegan PU, and nothing from an animal
The upper is vegan PU and the footbed is PU lined and cushioned. No leather, no suede and no animal material anywhere on the shoe, which also means there is nothing to condition or feed. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and work around the embroidery rather than over it. For the same wipe clean vegan PU in a closed square toe, see our croc embossed heels.
Denim Blue and White, US 5 to 11.5
Two colorways. Denim Blue is a color name and not a fabric: there is no denim on this shoe. White is the one people reach for when the event is outdoors, which is where boho block heel sandals mostly end up, on grass, gravel and packed sand. Sizes run US 5 to 11.5 in full and half sizes. For the same cherry idea as a closed crystal pump, take the cherry charm heels, or browse the rest of women's heels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do block heel sandals sink into grass or sand?
Far less than a stiletto does. A wide block spreads your weight over a much larger footprint, so it presses in rather than punching through, which is why a block is the standard recommendation for garden parties, outdoor ceremonies and anywhere the ground is soft. It is the main practical reason to pick this shape.
Is Denim Blue actually denim?
No. Denim Blue is a color name, not a fabric, and there is no denim anywhere on this shoe. The upper is vegan PU, the footbed is PU lined and cushioned, and there is no leather, suede or animal material on it. We named the colorway for the shade, not for the cloth.
Are these bridal shoes?
They are not sold as bridal, though the White pair gets worn that way. The look is boho western, cherry embroidery over a peep toe, closer to a festival than a chapel. If you do want them for a wedding, White with an outdoor ceremony is the pairing that works, and the block is what makes standing on grass bearable.
How does the ankle strap fasten?
With an adjustable buckle. It takes up slack, so the same shoe fits a narrow ankle and a fuller one, and you can let it out a hole late in the evening. It also does real work: a secured ankle keeps your foot from sliding forward into the open toe on stairs or a slope.
Are peep toe block heels comfortable for a full day?
The block and the cushioned PU lined footbed do most of that work, and the buckle does the rest by stopping your foot sliding forward. An open toe helps as well, because no seam presses across your toes. A wide block and a fastened ankle are what make an open front heel last past the first hour.
What size should I order?
We list US 5 to 11.5 in full and half sizes. We have not published a verified fit note for this style yet, so we will not tell you it runs true to size until we can confirm it. What we can point at is the buckle, which lets you tune the fit once the shoe is on.
