A pomeranian necklace has one hard job: keeping the fox face from collapsing into a generic fluffball once it is shrunk to pendant size. This one holds the pointed muzzle, the small upright ears and the proud ruffed chest, framed in hand-set rhinestone so the coat still reads as coat. Big personality, tiny footprint, same as the breed. More faces under dog lover gifts by breed.

The plated option on the shelf

Search this and almost everything you will find is sterling silver or 14k with real stones, starting near a hundred dollars and climbing hard from there. There is no plated alternative in that lineup, which is the gap this piece fills - an everyday Pom pendant you will not panic about losing. It sits with the rest of our pet jewelry.

How do I keep the pave from dulling?

Off before showering, swimming and the gym. On last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray - solvents work at the setting, not the stone. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store it dry, away from other pieces that can knock the stones.

Can I put my dog's name on it?

Not on the pendant itself - these are cast pieces, not engraved blanks. The Keepsake Engraved Charm clips beside the pendant on the same chain and takes two lines of eight characters each. Coco, Bella, Peanut, Milo and Biscuit all fit. Bartholomew does not.

How long is the chain?

About 20 inches, or roughly 50 cm. That sits just below the collarbone on most people, so the pendant lands where it can be seen over a crew neck rather than disappearing into a neckline. It is a fixed length with no extender, so if you wear your necklaces short or layered you will want to know that before ordering.
